Standing up to racism is important, but it can feel daunting. Thankfully, improv is one place where you’re not expected to have the answers; just a commitment to listening and a willingness to say, “yes, and.”

This workshop blends traditional improv concepts like labeling, and games like New Choice, to teach how to notice, and address, racism.

Attendees will use the principles of improv to build meaningful connection with people from different backgrounds, replace stereotypical assumptions with more nuanced and inclusive choices, and practice calling out racism in every setting -- be that an improv scene or a dinner conversation.
